Welcome !

The mission of Boy Scout Troop 155 is to provide year round opportunities for young men who are 11 through 18 years of age to have a fun, challenging, supportive, and exciting Scouting experience through discovery and volunteer community service.

Active, enthusiastic scouts are supported by trained adults and involved parents in an outdoor based, year round, boy-run program that holds their interest. We encourage scouts to advance in rank so they have the skills to enjoy the opportunities presented, but not at the expense of fun. The Scouts will teach, reinforce, and focus on the core concepts of Scouting Program as described in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto and the Outdoor Code.

Our goal is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime through the development of strong character, leadership abilities, and an understanding of social responsibility.

Troop 155 meets every Thursday at the Salvation Army Community Center - 650 Petit Ave. Ventura, CA (7:00pm-8:30pm). For more information on our program, please contact Scoutmaster, Lee Klein at

MANDATORY - Annual Parent Meeting - Thurs, Oct. 8th

Our Annual MANDATORY Parent Meeting will be on Oct. 8th. At least 1 parent/guardian must represent their scout. AGENDA: Annual Membership Info, Scout 2016 Outing Calendar, Volunteer Positions and Summer Camp 2016!

National Jamboree 2017

Interested in going to the National Jamboree in 2017 at Bechtel Summit Scout Reservation in WV? The VCC is putting together its troop. Dates are July 19-28, 2017 and the cost will about $3000.

Deep Sea Fishing! - FINAL signups and payments this Thurs, Oct 1st

Just a friendly reminder that THIS THURSDAY is the last day to sign-up AND pay for the fishing outing that’s scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11th. We have lots of spots still available if anyone still wants to go. Remember, this is a PRIVATE CHARTER and so only those affiliated with the Troop and Crew were invited! NICE! See attached for the roster and payments. Also, another reminder ….if you’re 16+, you must get and bring with you a 1 day fishing license. We'll have our Fishing Merit Badge Counselor, Brett Anderson, on the boat to help any scout that wants this merit badge!

Popcorn Sales

Popcorn Take Orders will be due on Thursday, Oct. 15th. The scouts were shown a training video and given an order form at our last troop meeting. Scouts will earn 30% commission that can be used towards scouting outings and camp! $600 earns them a Rosewood Multipurpose tool PLUS a PRIVATE party at Sky High in Camarillo.
