Welcome !

The mission of Boy Scout Troop 155 is to provide year round opportunities for young men who are 11 through 18 years of age to have a fun, challenging, supportive, and exciting Scouting experience through discovery and volunteer community service.

Active, enthusiastic scouts are supported by trained adults and involved parents in an outdoor based, year round, boy-run program that holds their interest. We encourage scouts to advance in rank so they have the skills to enjoy the opportunities presented, but not at the expense of fun. The Scouts will teach, reinforce, and focus on the core concepts of Scouting Program as described in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto and the Outdoor Code.

Our goal is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime through the development of strong character, leadership abilities, and an understanding of social responsibility.

Troop 155 meets every Thursday at the Salvation Army Community Center - 650 Petit Ave. Ventura, CA (7:00pm-8:30pm). For more information on our program, please contact Scoutmaster, Lee Klein at www.Troop155SM@gmail.com

Welcome newest Scout Garrett Hadrys! Garrett bridged over from Pack 3155 and joins his 2 brothers officially with Troop 155. Garrett has already been on 2 Troop Backpacking outings, and is planning to go to summer camp!

Tyler's Eagle Board of Review - June 2nd

Tyler Klein will be having his Eagle Board of Review on Tuesday, June 2nd, so the TLC will have a quick meeting in the parking lot. Be a part of Tyler's scouting history! The ENTIRE troop is invited to come CHEER him on and give him some Troop 155 moral support before he enters the building for his final journey to become an Eagle Scout! No uniform required. Group photos before and after the event. Arrive at 6:50pm at the United Methodist Church at 1338 E. Santa Clara Street, Ventura, Scouts can leave at any time after this quick meeting. The TLC meeting will still take place, but at United Methodist Church parking lot at 7pm. Congratulations again to Tyler for this amazing life accomplishment! Troop 155 is very proud of you!!!

Camp is just 6 weeks away! YAY! Remember to make those Dr. appointments now for the Medical Part C. Also, you can turn in your Merit Badge Class List to me now too.

Troop Events this week- BOWLING, ECOH and BACKPACKING!!!

We have 3 troop events going on this week:

• 5/21 – Thurs: Troop Meeting will be BOWLING at Wagon Wheel Bowl. 7pm. Wear Class B Red T-shirt and bring $10 to bowl (includes shoe rental).

National Youth Leadership Training - C3F (August 2 - 8, 2015)

We just completed the Junior Leadership Training (JLT) for our troop, but Camp Three Falls also offers the National Youth Leadership Training in August for those want week-long outdoor experience.
